                                                          Square Tube Truss

Square tube trusses are generally used in smaller structures no wider than 30' with a maximum wall height of 14'.  Square tube trusses also have ceiling joists and are not clear span.

This type of truss is most common in smaller shops, garages, and houses.

                                                  Conventional Truss

A conventional truss can come with either web or straight legs.  These trusses are clear span and the purling material is generally 2x4 wood.  These can be used in buildings up to 60' wide.

The conventional truss has a variety of uses to include poultry houses, shop buildings, houses and churches.

*This truss is commonly the most economical as wood is used instead of metal for purling material.
